Bandana Jain Studio is India’s first cardboard art studio based in Worli, Mumbai. Spread across 1500 sq. ft. the studio houses the artworks created by Bandana Jain. The different artworks showcase the utility of cardboard as a new age material in crafting contemporary stories. Some of her well-known artworks like Perfectly Imperfect and Fluid Bench are also on display.
About Bandana Jain
Bandana Jain is an artist and the founder of Bandana Jain Studio. She works with corrugated cardboard. An alumni of the prestigious Sir J.J. School of Arts, she started off as a furniture and accessory designer and evolved as an artist. Her artworks are derived from the micro and macro aspects of life and the world at large. For 7+ years she has elevated cardboard as an expression of contemporary art. She also synthesises cardboard with different materials to create unique expressions of functional art as well.
