Nicobar Heads To The Sunny Tropics of Kochi! Pops Up at Kochi-Muziris Biennale!

The Nicobar Edit
at Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016

Date: 12th Dec’16 – 12th Feb’17
Venue: David Hall, Fort Kochi.

As the weather turns, we’re heading outdoors to the sunny tropics. The Nicobar Edit’s next stop? Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016. We’ll be at David Hall in Fort Kochi for a two-month pitstop come December 12.

We, Nicobar Edit is a design studio, and while a lot of our focus is on design, it is also on the sensory experience we create for our customers. While others shut down their brick-and-mortar homes, we’re focusing on our physical space to create a very holistic experience, one where the mood is of relaxation and wanderlust.

Much like our previous pop-up shops, the fourth edition of The Nicobar Edit is an island designed to bring our store experience to a new place. Spanning 10 yards in length and 4 in breadth, under a white tent and festooned with tropical fronds, the interior is pieced together like a series of vignettes, and corners are punctuated with products designed for your home and wardrobe, inviting you to linger as long as you like.

We believe everyone deserves good design, and Kochi Biennale, with its celebration of the arts, is a natural home for Nicobar’s travelling shop. We’re building an experience that the Biennale’s global audience will appreciate, with every last detail considered: from our signature scent and lighting, through to the clothes rails, the music, and thoughtful keepsakes our customers can treasure.

A mix of textures, lighting, and moods, The Nicobar Edit’s fourth stop is Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016.
